What is MarketOnTheGreen.org?

MarketOnTheGreen.org is online grocery shopping and delivery service operating in the Toledo area. All orders are fulfilled by Market On The Green supermarket located in Toledo, OH.

How does the online ordering work?

You place your order

  • Add products to the shopping cart
  • Pick the delivery date
  • Checkout

We work on it

  • Our personal shoppers put together your order
  • You get a email or call with questions about product options and availability (optional)
  • We scan all the items from your physical shopping cart
  • We charge the exact order amount to your credit card
  • We deliver your order or you pick it up

What is your delivery schedule?

Monday through Friday:

  • Orders placed before 7 AM and 5:00 PM – will leave for delivery after 12:00 PM-3:00 PM or 5:00 PM-7:00 PM
  • Orders placed after 5:00 PM – will leave for delivery the following day after 12:00 PM

Saturday:

  • Orders placed before 10:00 AM AM and 4:00 PM – will leave for delivery between 1:00 PM-6:00 PM
  • Orders placed after 4:00 PM – will be available for delivery beginning next business day at 12:00 PM

Sunday: No deliveries

ProMedica Headquarter Delivery:

Monday through Friday

Orders placed by 3:00 PM will be available for delivery the same day (or choose future date) at 4:00 PM at the designated ProMedica Headquarters delivery location and will be available until 5:00 PM. Orders not obtained by 5:00 PM – will be returned to the Market and will be available for same day pick up until 8:00 PM.

If the order is not obtained during the Steam Plant delivery window or picked up from the Market by 8:00 PM on the scheduled delivery date it will be cancelled with no refund.

What is your store pickup schedule?

Monday through Friday:

  • Orders placed before 10:00 AM – will be ready for pickup after 12:00 PM
  • Orders placedbetween 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – will be ready for pickup after 2 hours order processing time.
  • Orders placed after 4:00 PM – will be ready for pickup beginning next business day at 12:00 PM

Sunday: No In-Store pickups

What are your hours?

You can place your order 24 hours a day. The deliveries happen throughout the day during business hours.

Inventory and Prices

Can I order beer or wine online?

Yes for PICKUP ORDERS ONLY-if your order contains alcoholic beverages, the person who picks up the order must have proper identification proving that they are over the age of 21.

Are all the products in your store healthy?

We sell a wide variety of products including grocery, produce, frozen foods, dairy, fresh meat, HBC, and local products.

What is the grade of your meat?

USDA Choice and Organic

What’s the minimum order amount?

Curbside or In-store pickup: No minimum

Delivery: $50.00

What is the delivery fee?

The service fee for Curbside pickup is $4.95. No Minimum order.

The service fee for delivery is $9.95. Minimum order $50.00

About My Order

When is my credit card being charged?

It’s charged in the store, once we process your order and calculate your final total. A pre-authorization hold in the amount of your estimated final total, will be placed on your card once you complete the online checkout process.

Can I pay with my SNAP (EBT) card?

Yes - you may pay for an online order with your EBT card for PICKUP ORDERS ONLY. However, you will still need to provide a credit or debit card for the initial authorization during the checkout process. Once you arrive at the store we will be able to process the order using your EBT card for any eligible items. If there is a balance left for non-EBT-eligible items, your credit card on file will be charged.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to check the box that states to Process SNAP as final form of payment when checking out.

Can ProMedica Employees use Payroll Deduct to pay for an order?

Yes-ProMedica employees may use payroll deduct to pay for an order.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to check the box that states to Process Payroll as final form of payment when checking out and enter your employee ID. Badge verification will be needed at time of delivery or pickup.

What happens if the item on my order is out of stock?

Currently, we will not substitute for out of stock items. It will simply be removed from your order.

How do I make a change to my order?

You can request changed to your order if it was not processed yet. Contact the store directly here

How do I report a problem with my order?

How do I review my receipt?

You will get the regular store receipt with your order upon pickup or delivery.

How do I return items?

Either bring the item(s) into the store or contact the store directly here

All returns will be accepted with receipt within 7 days of purchase. All sales of seasonal items are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on seasonal items.

Should I tip the delivery guy?

That would be your choice.
